Cricket days are back

As the IPL(Indore Premier League) approaches the finals, the heat has turned to a high level. It was supposed to be a game that fosters cooperation between the various sections as each section had to keep at least two foreign players (players from other sections). To some extent it did achieve its goals, but i still believe that the section rivalries are very much there and will continue that way. Heres the good part, the IPL has given a good entertainment be it in the form of the bidding process, the match controversies, team selection issues and what not. The placement week holidays would have been monotonous without the IPL. On the entertainment front, IPL has been a grand success at Planet I.

In fact this week even i shed my coaching gears and came down to play in the home ground of my section a.k.a I Block. I bowled after some 6-7 years and i must say that the bowling was not that bad. Thats the beauty of any sports. Even if you quit it comes back to you within a few days once you start playing again. In fact i am on a full fitness regime. Jogging, Badminton, Gym and Cricket so many options to chose from. I wonder when will the sports complex open so that I can start swimming again.

Till now term 3 has been pretty relaxed and chilled out. I know its a wishful thinking, but I hope that it continues this way..:)
