Blogger's new interface

Blogger's new interface is really cool. It gives a feeling of luxury and grandeur. You feel like writing more and more. In brick and mortar space in a retail outlet is the prerequisite for the feeling of luxury. In the digital world its the UI. Rich UI can become a point of difference, at least it is a hygiene factor.

Finally my passport got stamped!!

After much ho hungama i finally got a green signal for my Zurich assignment. After one full week of packing-shacking, finally i was at the Bengaluru International Airport. When i reached the airport i learned that the Air France flight to Paris was delayed by 25 minutes. Shurwaat hi khaarab hui. Later in the flight i was a bit disappointed to see that none of the airhostess were 'hot'. Life's like a box of chocolates!

" Life's a box of chocolates, Forrest. You never know what you're gonna get!!" Forrest Gump is one of my favorite movies. Perhaps because I was as (maybe I still am) "stupid" as Forrest is. Perhaps I like the concept that there is hope and that the fact that one can shape one's destiny through some  bit of luck and some bit of hard work! Isn't it why the saying 99% perspiration and 1% inspiration is what success is made up of? But the question is can you shape your destiny without any element of luck? Well I do believe that however hard one might work, there is always an element of luck. Things that are beyond our control for instance make chance play a huge role. Should you join IIM Indore?

I am not responsible for any fall out arising out of your reading this post on this blog. Someone asked me on my views on whether a new student should join IIM Indore given the batch size. Well, I will try to cover certain aspects that will throw some light for future applicants. Having spent two years here and more so because I am part of the first graduating batch of size 450, I have developed an understanding of things that work and that do not work at Planet-I. I believe that these views are more pertinent for people with 3 or more than 3 years of work exp but nonetheless these views are universal as well.
