Still waiting for a reply..
On seeing how the Left was paralyzing India's Nuclear and Energy Future, I decided to write an email to the Leader of Opposition, Advaniji, for safeguarding India's interest and future. I thought that in these dark hours for the country, Advaniji would provide the guiding light to the country.However, its almost three weeks now and i am yet to receive a reply from Advaniji. On the contrary i was highly disappointed to know later that the BJP has taken a negative stance on the Nuclear Deal. I wonder if i will ever see the day in my life when our politicians come out of their narrow mindedness and look at broader issues of National Interest.
Below is the mail that i had sent to Advaniji..
"Respected Advani Sir,
It is really unfortunate that in a country where a majority of the population lives with less than 6 hours of electricity, where most of the Plan targets on Generation and distribution of electricity have been missed by the government, and most importantly when the global Oil and Gas prices are reaching to a new high, it is in that country the government is still having second thoughts on a deal which could secure India's Energy future. Advaniji, I wish to draw your attention to the dying India-US nuclear deal.
Energy is the key for the country take on the path of rapid growth and industrialization. The UPA government under Dr. Manmohan Singh has failed to have a vision for the country and is resorting to all sorts of short term election goals. The Left has not just paralyzed the government but in turn has ended up paralyzing the entire nation, its growth, its economy and India's credibility.
It is in these dark moments that concerned citizens like me look upon you as the Leader of Opposition to provide direction and leadership to the country. I appeal to you to not let the Left and the UPA to malign the future of the country for paltry politics for power. I request you to rise and take upon this opportunity and secure India's Energy future. And in the times to come, the indebted people of this country would never forget how Advaniji saved our future by standing against the malicious agenda of the Left.
Hope that you would take a positive action in the favor of the nation.
